SLOTS TYPE ARGUMENTS

The next thing we need to talk about are 'slots.' Slots are statically typed arguments that get passed into the intents. For example, we might want to create a third intent in our example to find the view count from for all your videos, but be able to pass it a date and have it return the video view count since that specific date.

So you could ask Alexa, "How many video views do I have this month?," for example. Now the intent will need to take an argument of type 'date.' This statically typed argument is called a 'slot.'
